WE GIVE OUR GIRLS SYLLABI AND CURRICULUMS FOR THEIR EDUCATION. WE MAKE THEM PLAYBOOKS FOR THEIR ATHLETICS. WHAT DO WE GIVE THEM TO SUPPORT THEIR GROWTH THROUGH LIFE?
This book is a collection of experiences and wisdom to help girls with navigating all of it: school, athletics, and life. Women share letters on what they would tell their younger selves or another young girl about the journey. This book will remind you of your power and that you are never alone.

"Sports have always been a part of my life.
Growing up it was how I made friends, how
I gained confidence in myself, how I learned
discipline...this is the story of how it has
helped me to succeed in life from the lessons
I learned and the friendships created."
HOW WE WROTE DEAR HER
EVERYONE HAS A POWERFUL STORY
Each persons experience through the navigation of academics, athletics, and life can help so many other females in their journey. Young girls need to hear from those that have been there before them and understand the experience of being a female athlete! We asked our contributors to think of themselves as an eighth grader about to enter high school and the lessons they were about to learn…and what they wish someone would have told them before they started that journey.
The letter is a general letter on the journey to greatness and covers areas such as:
Confidence, Body Image, Mindset, Work Ethic, Challenges, Performance, Practice, Competition, Teammates, Coaches, Academics, Family, Friends, Nutrition, Recovery, Balance, Peer Pressure, Leadership, Recruiting, Relationships, etc.
We thank you very much for your time and helping young girls navigate their journey. As we know, it can be a crazy adventure with lots of opportunities for growth. It is important for girls to know they are not alone in how they are feeling and what they are experiencing; how empowering it is to see that the powerful women they see today were once just like them. We have made great strides in closing the achievement and recognition gap for females but there is still more work to do by us. When we did our research on podcasts, letters to younger selves, and females being recognized in sport and performance the ratio is still very disproportionate of more than 40:1 males to females. We thank you for taking the time to write a letter, read our book, support our mission, and for cheering on females in sports.
